Performs diversified clerical duties to compile data pertinent to sales of products for customers or representatives.
Reads correspondence from customers and representatives to determine proper action.
Handles order write‑ups, order log book, project listings and mail all quotations.
Creates production job files with required paperwork.
Inputs daily entry sheets as received from manager.
Reports unusual conditions or problems to sales manager.
Sets up filing system and general office procedures as instructed by the office manager.
Handles telephone calls as they are related to area of responsibility, including back-up for customer service.
Serves as liaison with purchase order originator or supplier for any discrepancies.
Reviews invoices from suppliers for accuracy to purchase orders as to price, quantity, discounts and similar information.
Maintains files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
