Overview (Text Only)

Directs, plans, assigns, and monitors post order production department operations and activities. Determines priorities for department operations in conjunction with production schedule and schedulers. Interfaces with the project coordinator regarding customer expectations and job specifications. Responsible for the implementation of all policies, practices, and procedures pertaining to production personnel. Maintains/Updates ERP/MRP Business Systems with current production data. Closes orders for invoicing upon completion releasing the work for shipment. Supervises and coordinates the activities of production workers.

- Studies production schedules and estimates labor hours required to complete printing jobs.
- Interprets and enforces company policies and safety regulations.
- Interprets printing specifications and job orders and assigns to production personnel.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and print quality.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Maintains time and production records.
- Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
- Performs activities of workers supervised.
- Ownership of Quality Control for all projects.
- Interviews, hires and trains new employees and performs yearly performance reviews and provides continuous employee mentoring and feedback.

3-5 years experience of digital imaging production management experience
Bachelor's degree in Business or Production Management from a four-year college or university
