    Builders’s Specialties, Inc. is a Manufacturing Representative office owned and operated by Construction Specialties. BSI has provided architectural products and services to the South Florida area for over 50 years. The branch employs professionals who provide sales, support, and customer service for all Construction Specialties product lines for the South East Florida market specifically for the architectural, structural, construction, and design communities. Being a member of the Builder’s Specialties team means being a member of the Construction Specialties family. This provides a small, supportive office environment with the training, resources, and advancement opportunities of a large privately held international company who has been in business for 70 years.
    The Sales Manager is responsible for managing the interior sales division for a CS owned Representative Office.  Outside Sales Representation of Construction Specialties Business Units in different divisions for both New Construction and Renovation Markets. Focused on 8 counties in Southeast Florida.

    - Work directly with the design community to help promote, grow, and obtain sales and future specifications for CS interior products.
    - Maintains a working knowledge of all products, services, and the construction industry.
    - Job responsibilities include working directly with end users, architects, interior designers, engineers, general contractors, sub-contractors, and specialty dealers.
    - Mentor, Manage, Develop, and Train direct reports.
    - Project coordination of orders as required.
    - Direct work with support personal, estimating, and customer service is also part of the daily activity.
    - Follows up directly with customers to determine status of outstanding quotations resulting in increased bookings. Includes assigned budgeted increases in closing ratio.
    - Develops monthly metrics to track success rate of outstanding quotes, competition on lost quotes, etc.
    - Coordinates follow-up efforts with the Inside Sales Representative and Business Units.
    - Provides samples and/or literature as requested.
    - Coordinates and communicates activities and results with Territory/ Regional Sales Managers.
    - Prepares and submits monthly reports on effectiveness and measurements of activities, meeting assigned goals, closing ratios in total and by territory, and quotes lost to competition.
    - Maintain close relationships with the design community to identify trends and new product opportunities.
    - Responsible for promoting CS products through presentations at trade shows, sales rep meetings, and other industry events.
    - 50% travel required within the specified sales region.
    - Any additional responsibilities requested by a supervisor.


    - Bachelors Degree (B.A.) or equivalent from 4‑year College, University.
    - Minimum five years related experience in the construction industry.
    - Self-motivated and has the ability to work independently.
    - Excellent verbal/communication and presentation skills.
    - Proficient in business management information technologies (Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word / Excel / Powerpoint)
    - Highly proficient in CRM (Salesforce experience a plus)
    - Knowledable in reading blueprints.
